New song in Music

"Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree.." sang room 15. In music we sang the kookaburra song and we played ukuleles and the orf instruments. Today we had a lockdown practice after social studies and we missed word work. We were all really quiet and waited really patiently for the police officer to come and release us. In social studies we read about India and had to answer questions about India. We had to read from a piece of paper to find the answers. It was kind of like having a cheat sheet. In language arts, we worked on our persuasive writing about zoos. If you were done you could have some free time on the computer.

If you would like to bring things for our zoo projects you can- but don't panic! There is still plenty of time 😓😓😓😓

 Spelling quiz is tomorrow

 Remember to wear boots because it's slushy outside

 Wear math day is March 12th. You can wear a jersey or shirt with a number on it, a pattern, clothes with shapes on it or anything else mathy. 

 Popcorn orders are due on Saturday by Midnight

Our First Google Meet!

Great job using google classroom! I loved reading your comics, they often made me laugh out loud. You guys are funny! I am glad you are also so tech savvy and were able to figure out how to use it so quickly. We have our first google meet today at 11:00am. Just go into the classroom and click on the link in the banner The link will appear about 5 minutes before the meeting. If you can, try to mute your mic before entering or it gets really noisy. If you don't know how, don't worry! I will be there to help. If you can't make it tomorrow, you can try to join in on Thursday at 1:00pm. If you can't make either, no problem!
