Ms. Fagnan's Class

Hi Grade Three's! I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the sun last week! It feels like spring is finally here. I apologize that last weeks blog did not post. I will be posting each Monday. Thanks for all your hard work last week as we dove into poetry and place value.  I know online learning is different but I have to say I am so impressed with how well you have done with it! We are starting to figure out Google Classroom together and I love seeing your work each day. You are still so creative and show such perseverance with challenge tasks- I am proud of you! We will be having a Google Meet at 11:00 am on Thursday (this will be our standard time). See if you can think up a 'would you rather' question to share with the class! Check out some of the creative bird feeders, Mo Willems drawings, and delicious meals your classmates have created!

Hi grade three's! I am so impressed with all the work you did last week and how quickly you all learned to use Google Classroom. I think my favorite part of the week though was seeing you all on Google Meet! I can't for the next one, it will be on Thursday at 11:00am. For this one bring your favorite stuffy and you can share two fun facts about it. I will only be posting on the blog on Mondays from now on as all of the information is available in Google Classroom. This will just a space to celebrate your learning and share resources. I will not be posting any announcements here that are not also found in Google Classroom. Great job using google classroom! I loved reading your comics, they often made me laugh out loud. You guys are funny! I am glad you are also so tech savvy and were able to figure out how to use it so quickly. We have our first google meet today at 11:00am. Just go into the classroom and click on the link in the banner The link will appear about 5 minutes before the meeting. If you can, try to mute your mic before entering or it gets really noisy. If you don't know how, don't worry! I will be there to help. If you can't make it tomorrow, you can try to join in on Thursday at 1:00pm. If you can't make either, no problem! We will have other opportunities. Check out some more of the 3D monsters our class made

I hope everyone had a great long weekend! Today is our first-day using google classroom! Please accept the invitation to join using your educbe.ca email if you haven't already done so. This platform will  work in a very similar way to how the blog was used last week. I will post assignments and students can work through them at their own pace. There is no expectation for students to be at the computer at a particular time, other then for our  brief google meet sessions once or twice a week (see below). If you need any help, please feel free to email me. This week we will also be having our first Google Meet! Our class will come together for about 20 minutes to try out Google Meet and have the opportunity to see one another. There will be two opportunities to partake, but you only need to try and come to one.
