Spelling Monday

Peel, peel went the stickers as Yasmine and Zachary got their stickers for getting mystery mess. Today we practiced our spelling words by doing a blind writing sort with a partner. One person had to pick a word out of the pile and the other person would have to write it down on their white board. If they got it right, they got a point. In science, we got a pipe cleaner and made it into a shape and put it in a cup of hot water. Then we stirred in some borax. Now we have to wait 24 hours and hopefully it will turn it in to crystals! We had gym outside today because of the election. In language arts we continued working on the In Flanders Fields poem and figuring out what it means.

Fun lunch is this Thursday

On November 14th the Leighton Center will be doing a wire art project with us. They will be joining our class from 12:50-3:50 that day. If you are a cleared volunteer and are able to help out, please email Ms. Fagnan

Our Remembrance Ceremony will be on Friday November 8th. Parents are welcome to attend.
