One Recess Today

"We may not get to go outside because in the afternoon we are going to go to Safe 4 Life" explained Ms. Fagnan. In the afternoon we had two visitors come from the company safe for life. It was so much fun because it was a see and do type presentation. They taught us that stranger danger is a myth, safe places and unsafe places, how to get out of a dangerous situation, and the ABCD's of safety. We practiced yelling No. GO. Yell. Tell. They said we were really good at screaming and being loud! We also learned some self-defense moves. In math, we had to finish up our domains or we wouldn't get a mark for our unfinished ones. We also got to start working on our special features.


Tomorrow is our field trip! We are going to the Glenbow. Please be on time and bring a bag lunch. Students are encouraged to have a big breakfast as we may not have time for snack. Parent volunteers are asked to come to the classroom at 9:00am. Students may go outside as per usual.

Our First Google Meet!

Great job using google classroom! I loved reading your comics, they often made me laugh out loud. You guys are funny! I am glad you are also so tech savvy and were able to figure out how to use it so quickly. We have our first google meet today at 11:00am. Just go into the classroom and click on the link in the banner The link will appear about 5 minutes before the meeting. If you can, try to mute your mic before entering or it gets really noisy. If you don't know how, don't worry! I will be there to help. If you can't make it tomorrow, you can try to join in on Thursday at 1:00pm. If you can't make either, no problem!
