Pink Shirt Day

"It's pink shirt day!" yelled all of room 15. After second recess we went to a pink shirt day assembly and they sang a kindness song, true colors, you can count on me and they did a readers theatre and a poem. Their main message was to be a buddy and not a bully. In gym, we were doing the line dance again and we also watched each line perform. Tomorrow we are going to be starting a new dance. On Tuesday we will be starting gymnastics. In virtues, we did a role-play of bullying of what you should do if someone is bullying you. We talked about when something happens, we often think of a story in our head but it is not always exactly what happened. We learned that we should talk our problems out before we act.

Our First Google Meet!

Great job using google classroom! I loved reading your comics, they often made me laugh out loud. You guys are funny! I am glad you are also so tech savvy and were able to figure out how to use it so quickly. We have our first google meet today at 11:00am. Just go into the classroom and click on the link in the banner The link will appear about 5 minutes before the meeting. If you can, try to mute your mic before entering or it gets really noisy. If you don't know how, don't worry! I will be there to help. If you can't make it tomorrow, you can try to join in on Thursday at 1:00pm. If you can't make either, no problem!
