A New Student Arrives!

"A new student arrived!" said Ms. Fagnan. Today we welcomed a new student into our classroom and we are very excited to have him join us. In gym, we practiced our Terry Fox run and we played four-corners. We went over to Mrs. Nayyars class for social studies and we worked on our map again. In word work we worked on our adjective books and came up with lots of describing words. In language arts we finished doing our four corner story plan. If we were finished, we began writing about our bff using our plan.

Club forms went home today. Please fill out with your child and choose their top three choices, labeling them 1, 2 and 3. It is on a first come, first serve basis so please try to return asap. If students would like to be in the grade 3 choir, they may also choose a second active club.

Next Monday is Orange Shirt Day.

Picture day is October 3rd.

Our First Google Meet!

Great job using google classroom! I loved reading your comics, they often made me laugh out loud. You guys are funny! I am glad you are also so tech savvy and were able to figure out how to use it so quickly. We have our first google meet today at 11:00am. Just go into the classroom and click on the link in the banner The link will appear about 5 minutes before the meeting. If you can, try to mute your mic before entering or it gets really noisy. If you don't know how, don't worry! I will be there to help. If you can't make it tomorrow, you can try to join in on Thursday at 1:00pm. If you can't make either, no problem!
