First Day of Silent Writing

Today we got to write about whatever we wanted and some people shared their writing. Some people wrote jokes, some wrote about dinosaurs, some a story, some wrote instructions and some wrote other things! We'll have a chance to do some silent writing practice at the end of everyday. In art, we learned to draw a nose and mouth for our self portraits. In language arts we learned what a noun is and wrote a little story in our books. You had to include a name, a place, a thing and an idea. We highlighted our nouns. In gym, we played revenge tag, tunnel tag and took a mindful minute.
